mizu Boston Goes Red

mizu Boston once again teamed up with the American Heart Association in support of their Go Red for Women Luncheon. The Creative Team from mizu had the pleasure of styling the hair of the 17 fabulous models/survivors of heart disease. Our staff had a fantastic time meeting these outstanding women, and the show was a success! Allow us to introduce you to some of the participants:
Meet Annie, an 11 year old survivor of heart disease who strut down the runway with the rest of the models in garments by local fashion designer Sarah Campbell. Annie was absolute delight to work with; she walked the walk after having her hair coiffed and primped by Mizu Stylist J.Lee Holbrook and the talented makeup team from Aveda. Way to go Annie!
mizu also had the pleasure of styling the hair of local television and radio personalities including Sue Brady (Mix 104.1), Kelly Malone (WBZ-TV4), Maria Stephanos (FOX25 News) and Rhondella Richardson (Newscenter 5 WCVB). "The models were awesome!" commented stylist Christine Bellemare (seen below working on Maria Stephanos), "not only were these ladies fun to work with but it was for a great cause - raising money and spreading awareness about heart disease."
A special thanks to the American Heart Association for including us again this year and to cheers to all the fantastic models: Sue Brady, Elizabeth Muff, Regina Canzater, Janice O'Leary, Julie DeMeester, Polly Pillsbury, Kristin Fowler, Rhondella Richardson, Chaseedaw Giles, Shiba Russel, Helen Goodwin, Mary Saladna, Kelly Malone, Annie Sasena, Jane Marshall, and Maria Stephanos.
Go Red!
