Welcome Fall! Moving into one of our favorite seasons of the year (fashion, apple picking, trends in hair) mizu for hair in both boston and new york have had an exciting spring and summer. With Dimitrios Tsioumas of mizu new york winning in two categories (Editorial Stylist and Haircolor) at the NAHA awards in Las Vegas, and mizu boston being voted one of the Top 100 Salons in the Country by Elle Magazine (July 2011) we headed into fall with a bang!
Kicking off the season was mizu new york’s participation in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. At Dominic Louis, the team led by stylist Ashley Hanna and including Damian Santiago (owner mizu new york), Ayato Yokojima, Courtney Bednarowski, Greg Cassese, Max Gierl, Judy Chamberlin and Kevin Baker showcased fall trends of androgynous looks with lots of texture including fishtail braids. An incredible week for New York and a jump start on the happenings coming soon in boston.
Boston Fashion week kicks off Saturday September 24th with much anticipation from the growing fashion community here. Sponsored by Range Rover and hosted in The Tent for the first time in its ten-year history, mizu boston, including stylists Christine Bellamare, Billy Boney, CJ Burns, Josie Faria, Ashley Mason, Alexander Maud, Darren Le, and Joelina Pereira look forward to styling the hair for shows featuring designs by Lily and Migs and M.Miller.
