Josie Faria's hair philosophy involves listening to the client, learning about their hair and lifestyle, and giving them the cut and color that translates beautifully into their life. As a Vidal Sassoon trained stylist and color educator for Wella, Josie has studied under top stylists and has traveled extensively to hone her craft. In training with the Bumble and bumble academy and working as a Network Educator for the company, Josie's skill in razor cutting and product knowledge and education is in the top of its' class.
Josie has worked with brands like Chanel and in support of her favorite local sports team (Go Sox!) through hair design for fashion shows for The Red Sox Foundation. Her work has been featured in Platinum Magazine and New York publications. A stylist for over 18 years, Josie has called Newbury Street salons her home for over 15 of those years, and has worked with a VIP clientèle including rock stars and their wives, as well as athletes and local media.
Josie specializes in cutting, coloring and styling as well as Great Lengths hair extensions. Her goal is to send every client out of her chair looking their best and feeling like a celebrity!
