With a Bachelor of Arts in Art & Graphic design, Dimitrios Tsioumas combines his exquisite eye for color with an artistic commitment to detail in cutting and finishing techniques. He looks to fashion, art, music, and nature as inspirations for his work. His designs show a significant amount of confidence and beauty and have a sense of structure and harmony. His unique concepts and visions for his collections have been nominated for the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA). He is two-time U.S. winner of the Trend Zoom Color Challenge. He recently won Texture Stylist of the Year (2010) for NAHA.
As a Goldwell International Artist, Dimitrios travels around the world teaching advanced color, cutting and styling education to hair stylists. As the Creative Color Director at mizu new york, he leads a team of highly skilled colorists and has developed mizu’s color education program.
