Born in Philadelphia, raised in Texas, Nicole comes to Mizu New York with a
little bit of that southern charm. In 2005 while attending an industry trade
show, she saw world renowned hair stylist Nick Arrojo cutting hair on stage.
She knew then what she wanted to do. Nicole immediately chased her dream to
New York City and landed a position working under the hair guru himself. It
was at ARROJO STUDIO that Nicole developed a flawless and priceless skill
set. Nicole traveled the world as a part of the ARROJO creative team cutting
hair and sharing trends on some of the industries biggest stages. From razor
cutting to men's cut, curly hair to bobs, when asked what she specializes
in, Nicole replies "Hair is hair, I specialize in it all."

Today, with 9 years in the business, Nicole has had 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place
finishes in the Wellas Trend Vision Awards, which led her to represent the
United States at Trend Vision International. Furthermore, Nicole was runner
up on Bravo's Shear Genius Season 2, was nominated in 2009 for the Fashion
Forward category of NAHA, for International Hairstylist of the Year for the
Canadian Mirror awards in 2010, and has been seen styling hair during New
York Fashion Week for designers such as Blanc De Chine, St. John and Nanette
LePore.
